In this project we were in charge of coming up with an identity that reflect the culture and spirit of Girão’s restaurant. An new and innovative space in the center of Oporto City in Portugal. Their most famous dish is “Pizza da Casa” .After researching and studying their target group we created the brand atributes. The creation of the brand attributes was done in close collaboration with the restaurant owners. It is a necessary step to bring the real essence of the company to the visual identity. The concept was based on the rotation movement of the pizza dough represented by different rounded lines. A visual metaphor for “Girar” which means “to rotate” in Portuguese.
